Image Analysis

HALO

HALO is a powerful 2D image analysis tool with AI capabilities to perform annotations and analysis on bright-field and immunofluorescent images for digital pathology and numerous other applications.  It offers a set of algorithms to quantify different image features (like IHC staining (BRDU positivity for example), vessel density, expression of multiple targets at single cell level in a multiplex IF image) and tools for image/study management to capture metadata and it allows for easy image sharing for internal and external collaborations. It works on a wide variety of image formats (https://indicalab.com/uncategorized/halo-supported-file-formats/) generated on multiple scanners and imagers.   HALO is available to all NCI users through NCI HALO cloud deployment supported by CBIIT.
