Core Mission
The Optical Microscopy and Analysis Core (OMAC) is dedicated to advancing the understanding of the molecular basis of three-dimensional (3D) cell organization, motility, invasion, and differentiation using fixed samples and live 3D tissue culture models. As a CCR-dedicated facility, OMAC provides cutting-edge fluorescence microscopy, including confocal and super-resolution imaging, to address critical research questions in cancer and HIV biology. Through collaboration with the CCR, OMAC drives innovation in sample preparation, image acquisition, and analysis technologies to support groundbreaking research.
