Core Mission
The Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genetics (LCBG) Microscopy Core provides state-of-the-art confocal and fluorescence microscopy, digital imaging, and expert training to support high-quality clinical and translational cancer research. Open to all CCR intramural researchers—with priority given to LCBG investigators—the Core offers access to advanced microscopy equipment and personalized guidance in experimental design, specimen preparation, staining, image acquisition, and analysis. By fostering excellence in cancer biology, the Core aims to advance research and train investigators, students, residents, and fellows in confocal and light microscopy. Access is free for CCR investigators, while external researchers are welcome to use the Core for a fee.
