Background
Dr. Pegoraro received his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the International School of Superior Studies in Trieste, Italy in 2004. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, he worked from 2011 until 2013 as a Research Scientist at USAMRIID in Frederick, MD, where he developed high-throughput imaging assays to screen libraries of compounds against emerging bacterial and infectious diseases. Dr. Pegoraro joined HiTIF in 2014. His specialties include high-throughput imaging assay development, functional genomics screening, and data analysis.
